Bidrage med feedbackI love this place! While the service is somewhat slower, the frits are made to order, so they are always hot and fresh. They also roast them now instead of putting them in the oven, so they taste better. Meals and sauces are unique and the shakes are delicious! You can actually drink it, which is rare in Provo. It's a fun place to hang and almost never full.
This is an excellent place to go on a date, hanging with friends or simply doing homework in a lively but not overwhelming environment. The frits (especially the cheese frits with bacon) are relatively cheap and absolutely delicious. I have found that a drink from the joined Sodalicious has excellent compliments to offer the great snacks Hot Potato. I was a little disappointed when Sodalicious/Hot Potato hired her milkshakes (especially the Nutella milkshake). It was for DIE. I tasted it twice, then every time I went back, it was either too early to buy milkshakes, the machine was broken, or finally milkshakes were completely removed from the menu. My frustrations about milkshakes despite, I absolutely love stopping by this sweet business to hang or a quick snack. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming without being overwhelming or loud. I highly recommend that everyone visit this place, even if it is located in the middle of the residential complex village, it is worth a visit. Helpful Note: There are parking spaces on the side of the village complex reserved for the patrons of Sodalicious/Hot Potato, so usually you do not have to compete too hard with the residents of the village to get a comfortable parking lot.
To be fair, I'm especially reviewing an article. I love the Carne asada Pommes. Love love. So five stars for them. I think their fries generally have a nice ****, but I just didn't try any other sauces because I always have to order my favorites.
I have a double date here. The frits themselves were super good, although sauces and toppings were just ok. The service was really good: My wife has nutritional restrictions that she has worked very well. If you are looking for a fast bite and a soda, it is a good place to stop.
Like the soda place it's attached to, the place is cheaper than other local places with fries, but it's okay at best. I got the garlic parmesan sauce, and it was not enough and too tangy. Maybe the other sauces are better, but you're better off going a couple of blocks North to The Wall on BYU campus which has REALLY good fries and awesome sauce that doesn't cost extra.
