El Mexsal - Provo

Really good food. The bean and cheese pupusa was really good. The cheese enchilada was okay. I’d try something else next time and they have several vegetarian options to choose from. It’s looks small from the outside but it’s a pretty big place. We went at 5:30 on a Wednesday and it was already pretty full, but we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The server was great, very attentive and the service was fast.

I tried pupusas here for the first time, and they were fantastic! They came with a side of pickled cauliflower and sauce. The pupusas were perfectly cooked and filled, and the combination with the cabbage and sauce was just right. The steak and the dipping sauce were also really good, served in a generous portion alongside your choice of corn or flour tortillas. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely be happy to return.

I took my wife today to el mexsal and we loved our experience! our server were so friendly and the food was delicious with generous portions. before them they were still amazing, we will definitely be back!

Great service, good food, decent prices. I've been here since one. they have made good lunch specialties. large selection of options. can sometimes be quite busy, but in the usually still good times.

I'm Mexican, and this was my first time trying Salvadoran pupusas. I have to say, I’m amazed! They are so delicious!
