“the Original”haven Brothers Diner Providence

I've occasionally visited Haven Brothers over the course of 30 years. The prices keep going up but the quality keeps going down. You're better off getting a hot dog from 7-11 across the street at the end of the night.

Excellent customer service and fantastic food. The Murder Burger was juicy and packed with flavor as well as perfectly cooked hot and crispy fries. Was too full to get a shake but I will definitely return when next in Providence.

The quality of the food was not good. The meat lacked flavor and was cold, and the fries were excessively oily and not fresh. I couldn't bring myself to eat it.

This diner is truly a hidden treasure—the food is fantastic, the owner is incredibly friendly, and the boxcar has a charming atmosphere that feels like a step back in time. I can't recommend this place highly enough; dining here feels like coming home.
