Rooftop at Providence G

We went to the first seating for the new years, the food choices looked good and the live music was what we were wanting. When we got there everything was better than expected other the view, (it was rainy and foggy, so the view was greatly reduced) the menus was a limited menus, but everything we chose, salad, steak, cheesecake) were VERY good! The guitarist played/sang good songs and we would only have changed where he was located, because no one could see him as he was by the entrance. We will surely be back.

Food was great. Always love sitting outside near the fire pit. Dan was out server and he was awesome! Super friendly and provided great service.

Overall, the drinks, food, and entertainers were great but our server really ruined our experience. We had a large party and that seemed to be a huge problem for him, rolling his eyes and making comments every time we needed something which was weird since all the tables next to us were empty so it’s not like he was very busy. We were there for a birthday before Christmas so you would think he could at least try to be nice. Being a table of all waiters, we were all being helpful but he was evil.

Had a great date night out at Rooftop! Music was playing later in the night (say past 8 pm) and the frigid outside air leaked in slightly, but nothing to detract from the experience. The food was great, especially the chicken!
