Primecut - Providence

We were turned off by the decor right away. The lighting was very bright and the room was small and oddly designed. The waiter did not know the protocol for the bottle of wine we ordered. My $47 steak tasted flat and had no seasoning on it. And the staff twice told us about the jazz band that was playing next door. We won’t be back.

Restaurant-Dekor was nice. place was quiet, only 2 more tables in the restaurant had customers. the made drinks were not made right and not mixed as described on the menu after we were originally brought the wrong drinks. steaks not cooked as ordered. we ordered the filet medium rare, which was well made and was dry, and the flat iron was ordered medium, came rare and was bad quality and gelatine. the carrots were cold and spinach sat in oil. definitiw overpriced.

My man and I went to dinner on Saturday night. there was only one other table at the place when we sat and another couple that came before we left. the waitress fought with the computer in front of our table for 5-7 minutes and then went to the kitchen. After about 10 minutes she came by and took our order. it took another 5-7 minutes to get our drinks (glass of wine and kokses). there was no bartender, so that the man who sat and brought us our water, said he who comes wein, but they had to bring it down. it was cold when it should have been room temperature because it was pinot nior. our appetizers came and were in order. the calamari had cherry tomatoes, paprika, a balsam glaze and was served with marinara, which was another combination. the crab cakes were good, but warm inside instead of hot. the dinners were a la carte and good, but expensive. Finally we paid and were charged a fee of $3.11 for using a credit card! that brought us over the edge. we were not happy to start the service and this fee was ridiculous! Nowhere was that mentioned in the menu or told us.

That was my friend and my second time here and it was all amazing again. we call it the hidden gem! we have another groupon coming back! I can't wait! well, we have wedge salat incredible! lobster ravioli- my girlfriends favorites by far! sauce is unbelievable! lachs- that is my favorite dish at all! the top closures are such a good supplement!

I can only say there are better places. Providence is not an ideal place to visit or dine. I had 2 negative culinary experiences in the city. I didn't feel comfortable visiting the city. there is a very negative element that lives and works in this city. will not return to providence soon.
