Pastaio - Providence

First visit and loved every minute. We celebrated Valentine's day with a lovely bottle of tempranillo wine, which was affordable and delicious. Beef tartare was different and spiced perfectly. Pork Milanese was cooked to perfection. Daily special was a roasted cod with fennel and couscous that was amazing! Chocolate semifreddo was a perfectly light ending. Service was on point. Cozy vibe. Great parking.

Excellent food, good service, nice decor. Menu was exciting but very very cryptic. I appreciate the urge to not over dramatize the descriptions, but unless you ask about the dishes you’ll likely have no idea what they are describing. We’ll undoubtedly return but will hope that the menu gets a bit more descriptive.

Farm fresh ingredients, easy on street parking, nicely done space, great meals under $20, friendly service. What's not to love?
