Yamato Sushi Asian Grill - Providence

We ordered off Uber eats. The spicy tuna looked like it was put in a blender and slapped onto rice. We ordered 10 rolls and it had the most awful fish smell to it. We both got food poisoning

Me and my girlfriend order her for Valentine's day on Saturday and we really sick right after!

I ordered via a delivery service and this was my first time eating from this restaurant. I'm usually skeptical of new sushi places but I'm so glad I took the chance! The sushi was very good and fresh. The fish was cut correctly so that it melted in your mouth. I got the white swan roll and the salmon avocado roll. Both were excellent. The white swan was only a little spicy, which is perfect for me as I don't like anything really spicy. The pork gyoza were sooo good! The only disappointment was the pineapple fried rice with chicken. There was more stuff than rice and it was bland. And it had raisins, which was unexpected, but not a bad addition. Adding soy sauce helped some, but the rice and chicken had zero flavor. I will definitely order sushi again, but will skip the fried rice.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I'm glad I did! The food was so good and packed so well (I ordered from a delivery service) everything was fresh and I will certainly order again. Oh and pricing was cool too

Yamato is my go-to sushi spot. Completely affordable (especially with their 50% off sushi deal right now) and DELICIOUS food. Their rolls are large and incredibly fresh, and their service is fast and friendly.
