The restaurant surprised with its quality for its location. This is not a typical village pub. The food was really excellent, beautiful to look at and the service was very nice. The interior is also pleasant (only the toilets could stand renovation). We enjoyed lunch here and it certainly made the trip through the beautiful surrounding countryside more pleasant. On the way home, I looked for a place to eat according to the reviews. This restaurant had very good food reviews. As for the atmosphere and the service, there is nothing to complain about. Great without a doubt. However, as far as the food is concerned, we were quite disappointed. There wasn't much to complain about in terms of taste, except for the harder potatoes.. However, as for the pork doll, we were expecting something different according to the description... The meat itself was not dried out, but it was rubbery enough to chew, we prefer it more cooked. The big disappointment was that we got everything dry, no juice or garnish as it was written in the menu. My son's Hamburger would not be bad, but the meat was completely tasteless. So it wasn't really a phenomenal experience for me... We expected much more for that price. It's not a problem to pay extra for good food, but this really didn't go well...
