Mr. Picanha - Progreso

We ate at this place in February 2016 and found it to be excellent. Both the food and the service were above average, but the menu was very limited. Unfortunwtely, when we returned in April, it was closed. On our return trip in July, it was still closed, so we assume it failed and is no longer open.

Tried this little place last Feb. on the recommendation from a local we met(who actually worked at another restaurant) and we were not disappointed. The steak tacos supreme were some of the best I have tasted and super reasonably priced! It is not a very large restaurant and has a limited menu but the service and quality of the food more than make up for it. We found it to be very clean as well. Will definitely return there on our next trip to Progreso.

My wife and I watched the owners and their 2 young girls prepping to open their restaurant the next day back in February. We decided we would have to try the place out. We were not disappointed. They were very friendly and helpful, we don't speak very much Spanish, so they called on their children to help translate. Some friends recommended we try this fairly new place in Progresso. It would be easy to miss if you didn't know it was there, but don't let the small size fool you. The menu features just a handful of items, but they all look great! We tried the arrachara with queso tacos and they were outstanding. Inexpensive and delicious made for the perfect luch.

Excelente lugar para disfrutar unos buenos tacos de picanha. Arrachera y sirloim .. excelentes sus salsas. Precios muy accesibles y una gran atención .. 100 % recomendado
