Carpe Diem - PRIOLO GARGALLO

This cafe is just a few blocks from our vacation apartment and what a gold Mine . Carpe Diem has such wonderful espresso and the most fantastic granita. I had the pistachio flavor and my husband the almond flavor, these flavors are natural not artificial and you can see it, smell it and TASTE it! And of course that soft and sweet brioche that is served with the granita. Carpe Diem is a gem of a place, great for that pick me up at mid morning or in the evening.

The best granita to the pistachio/mandorla with freshly baked hot brioche. impeccable service owners more friendly, friendly, welcoming and friendly ever met. In short, priolo gargallo is perhaps not the main tourist attraction in siracusa, but if you are in the vicinity I highly recommend to make a jump. You will not be disappointed!
