Bidrage med feedbackThe King's Head Restaurant is located in a museum of open culture and is connected to a pub. It is a popular spot for tourists, with a diverse clientele. Despite the busy atmosphere, the food exceeded my expectations. I tried the cured meat and found it to be delicious. The price for my meal, which included a glass of wine, was very reasonable at $29 Canadian dollars. In comparison, similar establishments in places like Disney or Colonial Williamsburg would likely charge around $50. However, I did find the dining experience to be a bit rushed, similar to a cruise ship dining room, with the goal of turning tables quickly. If you are looking for a cozy lunch, I would recommend the pub attached to the restaurant, which offers the same menu. Unfortunately, the pub is only open on weekends.
My friend and I visited Kings Landing and opted to have lunch there. We both ordered the one-piece fish and chips with lemonade and chose to dine indoors. The drinks were promptly served, and the lemonade was the best I've ever had. Our meal arrived, consisting of a large portion of fish, freshly cut fries, and coleslaw, all of which were delicious. We were so impressed with the quality of the food that we decided to order and split another serving of two-piece fish and chips. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at the King's Head Inn restaurant. The homemade buns for the burgers and chicken clubs were delicious and very affordable.
When they walk in the entrance door of the kings head inn, take a step back into the time. the costumed server and the entire decor bring them back to a time of the horse and buggy travel. the unique cutlery mainly the forks)...the kind of sugar on the table and the menu choices all speak of a bygone ära. meal prices can be a little high, but take into account the fact that they have a unique dinning experience. they treat themselves with a liquid release before their meal. you will be glad you did it.
Large portions (I could have shared with my husband). Great home cooking. Smiles all around the table. The couple next to us was raving about their brown bread, we will have to try it next time !
