The Salted Cracker #2 - Prince George

Found this place by accident while passing through town. Loved the food and service and only place I've ever been that has made in house crackers. Loved them!!

When you 've just had enough of that fresh is best chain broohah and want a real sandwich (or wrap or great selection of soups), the Salted Cracker has you covered. This location is bright, clean and cozy ... and popular. It was hoppin ' when we arrived. I ordered the Reuben sandwich. It comes as you 'd expect, on marble rye, nicely toasted with hot, corned beef brisket. It was very tasty. The brisket wasn 't quite as piled high as advertised on the menu, but it was present enough to give a good balance to the sauerkraut, cheese and dressing. Also, I didn 't see (nor was it suggested) any chips to go with this. Not sure if they have them. They do have packages of pickled asparagus? as well as containers of deviled eggs or broccoli salad. Not sure and I didn 't think to ask. All in all, though, the sandwich itself made for a nice lunch. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are okay, too. Again, it 's a great departure from the overhyped and over processed choice in town ... just make sure you ask for chips.

Best soup!!! And the sandwiches oh boy!! Chipotle chicken wrap… I just keep going back

My order has been wrong the last 4 times one of which was for a friend with an allergy. Food is good service isn't.

Best place to get soup or a sandwich or, dare I say... Both!
