Bidrage med feedbackWhen we arrived at the restaurant, we were completely ignored. The staff assured us they would be right with us, but continued to ignore us. Eventually, we were seated at a table but still received no service. Every now and then, a waiter would tell us they were ready to assist us, only to never return. A woman assured us she would come back to take our order after attending to other customers, but she never did. Frustrated and fed up, we decided to leave without being served.
The food was great. And the service was amazing. Friendly and helpful the atmosphere was also very welcoming
Used to go here for brunch pre-Covid and selection was amazing and one of our favorites. The renovations look good, nicely updated since our last visit, Our first time out for brunch in 2 years and this was our choice based on past experience and...was sadly disappointed. Very small selection of food items and brunch for 2 was $55 with tax. Breakfast items were plain scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, sausage, bacon and eggs benny. Eggs benny had lunch meat ham but eggs were medium and sauce was ok. Lunch items were rice, mixed veggies (looked frozen and heated), meatballs, a cutlet in gravy, lasagna or cabbage rolls The lasagna tasted like store bought Prego sauce or pre-made frozen lasagna warmed. The cabbage rolls were chewy and not that flavorful. The salad bar was a green salad, fruit salad or Greek salad and the Greek salad was the best part of the whole meal but with very few black olives. Dessert was store bought squares (Nanaimo or butter tart or brownies) or a few pieces of store bought pie (couldn't tell if it was coconut or banana cream by flavor) surrounded by a few glasses 1/2 filled with jello. Our waitress kept wiping her nose with her hand and no hand hygiene was performed in the time we were there. The bathroom had bits of paper all over the floor and the bathroom check chart by the sink was initialed once a month with the most recent date Mar 5-over 3 weeks ago. Menu chalk board indicated pricing and free mimosa with brunch- it was never offered and we didn't notice until we left. We asked 3 servers what age constituted a senior and the 3rd server finally said 65, other answers were 55 or no clue. Meals of those around us that ordered menu meals looked more appetizing so maybe that was the way to go. We won't be back, there was nothing that looked fresh or home made and most of the hot items were barely luke warm. I don't need lots of choices but I do expect hot and home made and cleanliness and hygiene, This place was a disappointment on all aspects.
Amazing experience at the Bon Voyage Restaurant. Their Greek food was awesome with fantastic portion sizes and great flavour. You did not leave hungry at this restaurant. Even my kids plate had a full size like an adult with the kids menu. The server we...had was fantastic, haven’t had a server that amazing in a very long time. She was so attentive and constantly kept our drinks filled. Went for my birthday and they gave me a free dessert which was so sweet. Will definitely be coming back here again. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We are traveling , staying next door , and had the senior meals. Good size portions The beef souvlaki was excellent. A nice strip of steak charbroiled medium..Greek salad , rice and potatoes. Chicken souvlaki also great . Excellent service and proper covid protocol. The...breakfast is also great. Obviously a very well managed business. I was a Restaurant consultant for years and would rate this one as excellent
