Old Greenhouse Ice Cream Shop

I had dinner at this restaurant and ordered the Salt and Pepper Squid and Confit Atlantic Salmon. The food was delicious and well-prepared.

I must say that I have visited this place so many times that I have lost count.

I was originally drawn to Hotel Royal because of their quiz night event. There are many experienced regulars who participate, but they come from a wide range of age groups.

I have been a Slickers fan for many years, our Slickers is a tradition, but this summer, we stumbled upon the Old Greenhouse Ice Cream Shop, just outside "downtown" Wellington, what a find! Absolutely delicious creamy creative and wickedly tempting flavours, generous portions, (we have paid more for tiny balls of ice cream from Slickers). No line ups, seems not many have discovered this gem yet! I wish them every success, and now I am totally hooked on Old Greenhouse Ice Cream!!

Stopped by for a come after several wine tours. Staff was awesome, great selection of ice cream. They have hard ice cream, soft ice cream, lots of toppings, outdoor places to sit down and beautiful view of the lake looking out the front door.
