Rademeyers - Pretoria

Great if you're not in a hurry. Service is very slow but the food is great. Very chilled and great to kick back on a Sunday. One of my favorites.

Date 'lunch ' at Rademeyers on Saturday was amazing! It was such a pity the it was so cold because the scenery at Rademeyers is gorgeous. It 's situated in the Moreleta Nature Reserve, so you can expect an animal or two to wonder past your table during lunch (how cool is that! <br/ <br/ We were lucky enough to get our own little room for lunch on Saturday, with each room decorated differently. Even though one would expect to be forgotten in our secluded spot, the service was impeccable. Our waiter was always there when we needed him but not constantly bombarding us with questions. <br/ <br/ The food! oh my the food. I had a rump steak with pepper sauce and mash potato. Probably one of the best portions of mash I 've had outside my moms kitchen. The steak was cooked to perfection and the pepper sauce was clearly made in the kitchen, and not from a packet (which is usually the case . Despite the very generous portions I managed to stomach a lovely pepper mint crisp pudding for desert and it was completely worth it.  <br/ <br/ Thanks guys! Had a lovely time and will definitely be back for round two.

I Definitely like this place. I was a bit skeptical considering some of the poor reviews I've seen here, but we didn't experience any of that. The location firstly, is beautiful. Sitting outside will make you feel like you're in the middle of the kruger park. Ostriches and zebra just chilling on the grass next to the restaurant. The service was excellent. I feel like this place must have changed a lot since some of the other reviews of Rademeyers. I Ordered the chicken cordon bleu, and I absolutely loved it. The presentation of the dish was top notch, and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Will definitely be visiting again soon to try out some of the other items on their well-stocked menu. I recommend Rademeyers for high quality food porn for decent prices.

Had my husband's 50th birthday on Saturday. Everything was catered exactly as I requested. The food , service everything was excellent! The manager was open to accommodate all my needs for this function.Thank you for a beautiful and memorable evening.

What a delightful lunch!We visited Rademeyers on a Sunday with my parents. All our food was superb! The meat was great and the lady from Zimbabwe that served us was an absolute jewel! We really enjoyed it.
