Ocean Basket Woodlands - Pretoria

Very nice experience! I often go to Ocean Basket and you always get what you want. Good food at accommodating prices. I will recommend the one at Woodlands as the staff is always friendly and very helpful !! You can’t go wrong.

Ocean Basket is my dad's favorite place so we went here for a lunch. The outdoors upstairs seating is great, a bit secluded and quieter with fantastic views over the golf estate across the road. Service was fast and the waiters are very friendly. <br/ <br/ We started off with tempura prawn rolls, tasty enough all though a bit stingy with the prawns. One of the rolls had a prawn tail sticking out and that was fantastic, in the others the taste was lost between the small prawn piece and big globs of sweet chili sauce. <br/ <br/ Dad went for the 18 prince prawns with a Graca, I had the Feesh and chips with a passion fruit lime. The dishes arrived quickly and were nicely presented, standard Ocean Basket style. The chips were a bit overdone but nothing to complain about. My fish pieces were a bit rough, the tail part rather than the nice fleshy bits. <br/ <br/ All in all your standard Ocean Basket, good enough quality seafood with friendly and quick service.

I was honestly so surprised by how incredible my visit here was this morning. Even as a vegaterian, my food, the med veg bowl, was absolutely divine. Our waiter, Joy, was very catering and friendly, the manager, Clayton, was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their flavors all mix together perfectly, their drinks are amazing! Highly recommended you take a visit there ASAP!

We ate there last night- we wanted oysters and went there just for that. The waiter informed us they had none- within a few minutes they had arranged with another restaurant to give us oysters from their side. Well done! It saved the night for us!
