We arrived and was told where our table was ordered some drinks . Then food was ordered and we wasn't waiting long before the food arrived The staff lovely. We would go to the oak again

Welcoming staff and a good selection of meals without breaking the bank. The service was excellent and a clean well maintained environment. Well worth a visit.

We sat down and there was maybe 1 or 2 other tables when we arrived. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone came and took our drinks order. Then we ordered food and drinks. We waited just over an hour for our 4 roast dinners to arrive. The food was bad. Veg hard, meat chewy, potatoes burnt, and crispy onions in abundance which is new to me on a roast dinner but whatever. Then, we were asked how our food was and told the server. She was very nice. Said she would knock some money off the bill. Then we sat there with dirty plates on the table for 15 minutes. Got up and went to the bar to pay in the end. Money did get knocked off by the server who was very pleasant. Overall, would rather starve then ever go back for food.
