The Retreat - Presque Isle

Always one of our stops when driving motorcycles. beautiful quiet place on a beautiful street for an adult drink.

As strangers among people who all know each other and left, were more friends. forbes (the hostess, barman, waiter and cook) was on his game, although the only person in the service. I had the obligatory old-fashioned (actually two) and an excellent Italian bark. he even drew a map of the best musky fishing in south turtle lake.

What a fantastic discovery! The burger and beef sandwich were both delicious. The bartender was excellent, and the outdoor area is just perfect, complete with cozy bean bag seating.
