Bidrage med feedbackBest stumbled upon breakfast I 've ever had. Nailed the extra crispy hashbrowns, and the sausage gravy would make even the crabbiest of folks shed a little tear.
Only place in town to get a good homemade breakfast. A must stop for people visiting on sleds or bikes.
I've been all over the Northwoods on my Harley touring the last few years. I've visited numerous restaurants during my travels. I don't know how I overlooked this place. I had an early ride to the MI border for pictures. The Outpost was on my route and it was about breakfast time. I can't express the experience enough. The waitress was so nice, the Christian music for a Sunday morning was enlightening, but the food. It was by far the best breakfast I've had traveling the last few years! If you are going thru Presque Isle, or even close by, make this a must eatery! I'll be going back!Parking: I was there early, but there seemed to be plenty of room.Wheelchair accessibility: Two spots right out front. Flat going in.
Ordered the country fried steak and eggs. The flour wasn't fully cooked out of the gravy so it was very pasty and we could taste the flour. The waitress was cold. When it appeared we were done eating, she just picked up the plates and didn't even ask if there was anything more we might want...like a donut or pie to bring home. This used to be a great northwoods restaurant.
This little restaurant has the best breakfast I have ever had! Come here, order the Eggs O'Brien (I get it with my eggs done soft, so if that's your thing, do it! and become a believer.
