Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

This was my second experience going through the drive-thru. I ordered a large family meal, but when I got home and opened the bag, the chicken tasted like it was three days old. Out of the 26-piece meal, there were mostly wings and no breasts, just thighs. I tried calling to address the issue, but I kept getting a busy signal for hours. It feels like they don't care at all!

While the chicken was crispy, it turned out to be dry and lacking flavor. The same went for the four biscuits — they were also dry. The fries were decent, but overall, I felt that the $27.42 I spent was a waste. I found the chicken at Golden Corral to be half the price and twice as good. I’m willing to give Popeyes one more chance by dining in next time. If that doesn't work out, then it's goodbye, Popeyes! By the way, I'm not a huge fan of KFC, but I have to admit their chicken is better than what I received here.

Disappointing experience! The chicken strips were quite bizarre—I'm not even sure if it was real meat. The texture was strange, almost rubbery. I hadn't visited a Popeyes in over two years, and with all the hype, I was eager to try their chicken. Unfortunately, the batter lacked flavor aside from the spice. The biscuit resembled a hockey puck, and I wouldn't recommend the coleslaw either. On a positive note, the frozen strawberry lemonade was excellent—definitely order that! The drive-thru staff were very friendly and helpful, which is why I'm giving this place 3 stars. However, I won't be returning for the food.

Needless to say I was very disappointed in my order. I had ordered a chicken sandwich meal with french fries and a drink. My sandwich was so greasy and so were my fries. I ate half of it only to have to be in the bathroom an hour later getting sick from it. I love Popeyes but this food here was terrible. First time trying this one in Prescott Valley. Think I'll do without when I'm here. Can't afford to get an upset stomach and sit in the bathroom

I went to Popeyes thinking that it was not open (my husband said it was). To get some take out. It was fresh and clean and the staff were trying really hard. I love fried chicken, but I never ever make it. I really like the one in PV. I am sorry to say it was just okay. Nothing really wrong with anything, it was just okay. But the place looked fabulous. I will try in a couple of months or so to see if they have the rhythm down.
