Maya - Prescott

I had my first truly great meal in Prescott, and I have to say, forget about the chain restaurants—this place is exceptional. I ordered the shredded pork chili colorado burrito, enchilada-style, along with rice and beans. It came with fresh salsa and a side of chips. You could really taste how the meat had been stewing all day in its rich flavors. The rice and beans were also delicious, with the beans having a slightly mole-like taste. The food was at the perfect temperature when I picked it up, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the meal. The staff was friendly, and I have a feeling this is a family-owned business.

I absolutely love Frank's Restaurant, also known as Mayas, located in downtown Prescott. Their menu is consistently impressive, and I really appreciate the various lunch specials available for just $9.99!

This is definitely one of the top three Mexican restaurants in the Quad City area. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was served quickly, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend it. Plus, they've been a part of the Prescott community for decades, so you'll be supporting a local business.
