Bidrage med feedbackThe valley of Lamanère, through a wood rich in mushrooms and wild flowers, we came across the Ermitage at the top of a route, 500 meters from the GR 83. The original building was restored as a hostal with many... unique historical features and access to the restored chapel, well worth a visit. The view over the mountains is breathtaking and there is a real sense of tranquility. The evening meal was great and the hosts were very flexible to ensure that all nutritional needs were met. the accommodation is very clean and comfortable with efficient hot water and access to drinks outside the meal times. It is perfect for large groups as well as single travelers. Isobel and Frank, who are warm and hospitable, have faced a challenge, but this place has huge charm and is wonderful value for the contract that it is. The access road (4K) needs careful negotiation at points when you have a low suspension, but it is worth the effort and no problem at all when you go, either on the road or on foot on the Coll d’Ares. We always want to return
