Gastronomia Pratese - PRATO

The shop has a large counter with many specialties of meats, cheeses and not only. Then there is the part of the gastronomy that offers dishes that would be done at home. I ate a tris of meatballs, chicken with two types of sauces. It was all very tasty and, indeed, with the taste of home. You can choose whether to have lunch there, although the tables are few of course or take everything home. You can also choose to get a nice sandwich with everything you want. Staff and owner very kind and hand. Right prices.

Simple and good food, just like at home. But in addition to food also staff is kind and helpful. In short, ideal for a lunch break, where to go and certainly return.

I like to eat stuffed sandwiches and typical dishes and in this place they can always please me. It is a typical Tuscan gastronomy, so with the bar full of good things, cold meats, cheeses, hot and cold dishes, and I can not resist inventing my recipe or my sandwich. What I recommend is the sandwich with herring, two beautiful herring fillets, a salad leaf and a slice of tomato. In winter they have tripled and blinked, the lasagna are (almost) daily. Very friendly and helpful staff, the place is always very clean. I recommend it for a lunch break, even if you have little time available.

We have lunched fast, however the taste of lasagna to the pleasantly persistent ragù has pushed us to want to test the skill in the culinary art of people with ways to make garbati and really very much appreciated; arista and potatoes in the oven, tender meat and cooked with extreme attention, spicy and golden potatoes... Well, you convinced us, even with reasonable prices. Bravo!

In Pratese Gastronomy you find what you need. The sympathetic shopkeepers. Great to buy and stop to eat. Good price quality.
