Bidrage med feedbackLove this place, very nice staff. I'd like to go back. The mixed grill we ordered is very tasty, the frits are a little salty. Dear owner, is this possible to buy a beer stone / cup from your restaurant? I love the design:
Love the Svejk book and this place rightly has a great reputation for gluten-free Czech foods. Delighted I found this little jewel... the waiter told me to take a place as there is table service, noticed that the special of the day was beef, dill sauce and gluten-free dumplings and was sold. Then it washes with a gluten-free beer. Thanks for allowing me to taste Czech hospitality and tasty Czech food, enjoyed me relaxing visit and will be back:
I'm so glad my friends and I had time to come to this restaurant. I am the GF One in the group, so I was really excited about eating traditional Czech food! My non-GF friends also enjoyed their meals. It is not a beautiful place in any way, more a pub style/sales house, but the food was really good and a fun experience (because most of the Czech cuisine made with flour! . If you are GF you must be here. It was quite easy for me to find something that was in every single restaurant where we were to eat, but this was a real treat able to order quite everything (and the things I usually have CANNOT like dumplings and fried cheese! And I know what the non-glue-free people think.... ew, why should I go there?! Again, my non-Gf friends really loved their meals. Yes, maybe the more running-of-the-mill meals are not the more you can get anywhere in Prague, but this restaurant, I would say is good for everyone if you are in the area. The service was also very friendly. It was a little more expensive than some places, but that was mainly because a person in my group accidentally ordered a $20 duck that would have fed 4. Your menu is online and you can see the prices before. Even if you are GF, you must be here while in Prague!
I went with my friend on a gluten-free diet that had researched and sought appropriate restaurants. I ate from the regular menu and had a camp, the garlic soup for appetizers and the gulaschpot a la Lieutenant Lukas all fantastic, but the portion size was huge and could have fed three!! The Goulash came with what I think was fresh horseradish, onions, cheese and three types of dumplings. The two waiters had great English and could answer all the questions. Clean bathroom. Only negative points were when it came to pay were charged 50 for tap water, which was more expensive than the filled sparkling water, but as the waiter correctly pointed out, it was listed on the menu, although we did not have the menu when it was requested and the fee was not on this stage. After you have in this stage in our trip water for free in all other facilities in Prague, no welcome surprise. We would have ordered ourselves back to bottle water if we knew. Also the card machine was down, and this was only made known when we went to pay. Both the website and the door showed that cards were accepted. It would have been nice to know this earlier, instead of one of us looking 25m for an ATM at the end of the meal. I would still go back and recommend it to others, but some simple on-site advice from staff would improve the evaluation.
A very nice and cozy place right in the down town of Prague city. It has 250 place. The food is delicious with very big portions. The waitress was nice. You can pay with your credit card or euro cash. Try the local food: gulash soup for example. The atmosphere is nice. The decor is nice too. They have live music sometimes.
