Bidrage med feedbackWe went there to get a vegan sandwich, but they were sold out. so we tried her hummus and an salate with lenses that tasted very well. few vegan choices, but they can get a coffee with soy milk and the hummus was great.
I discovered this place today and decided to try their dried tomato with hummus vegan sandwich. Usually it is difficult to get a good service as a vegan in a non-veg bistro, but the personal was extremely friendly, courteous and honest. Not only was I shown exactly how my sandwich was made, but I was also introduced to all other vegan items on the menu. not to mention the sandwich was delicious: creamy and hearty filling with a perfect combination of black olives, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes on a bed of arugula. I will definitely come back to try the other elements on their menu! I would give it five stars if it was possible, but non-veg restaurants can only get a maximum rating of 4 stars so that they get the top rating from me.
So glad to find this place and get a protein that was not another plate of roasted cheese! one day I had a fresh and delicious vegan sandwich with hummus, tomato, greens and olives, another day I came back and had an salad with garbanzo beans and fresh vegetables with a delicious dressing. they had available different materials every time I was there, but there were always at least a few vegetarian options and in the regular at least one vegan option. the staff was very friendly and the food was fresh and good. this place was quickly taken to my lunch when I was in this neighboring place. I am from berkeley and I can say that you eat is not much different than what they could find in a caffe in berkeley, just a little less expensive (at least according to American standards) with the lack of atmosphere and standard tariff I can not give it 5 stars, but I can say that this place is a welcome oasis of fresh in a desert of pasta and cheese is best for my!
The latte with almond milk was delicious, but I was disappointed to find that they were out of the highly recommended vegan sandwiches.
I was delighted to discover this restaurant and finally enjoy a meal with some protein that wasn't just a fried cheese dish. One day, I tried a delicious vegan sandwich filled with hummus, tomato, greens, and olives, and another day I returned for a salad with garbanzo beans, fresh vegetables, and a flavorful dressing. Each visit offered a variety of options, with several vegetarian choices and usually at least one vegan option. The staff was friendly, and the food was consistently fresh and tasty. This quickly became my go-to spot for lunch in the area. Although the ambiance and menu were not exceptional enough for a 5-star rating, I can confidently say that this restaurant offers a refreshing alternative to the standard pasta and cheese options in the neighborhood, reminding me of the cuisine you might find in a Berkeley cafe but at a more affordable price. It is easily my top choice in this area!
