Los Pajaretes - Prados del Tepeyac

White folks, this will require you to get out of your comfort zone. It’s a quick Uber drive from the city. It’s in the “sticks”, but i think it’s still considered Guadalajara. The owners/proprietors are very hospitable and kind. It was my first time going to one of these,(though my sister says we have them around San Bernardino County). I told the woman working the “order table” and she was super helpful on how to prep your cup. After adding the sugar, chocolate, coffee, and vanilla you take your cup towards the back and the señor, a sweet older gentleman, will ask you to hold the cow’s tail, take your cup, and squeeze fresh milk into it. The pajarete was warm and delicious! I had a second one. Super cheap and everyone there was friendly. My caucasian partner loved it. Does help if you speak Spanish. Just makes ordering less of a hassle, but Im sure the owners would still be able to help. Pesos only! If you’re lactose intolerant, they have beers, liquor, and chips with hot sauce. There was a woman outside selling tacos de canasta, which were amazing! Looking forward to going back!

¡Excelentes! La atención de la Sra. Alicia, don Memo y el güerito es muy buena. El ambiente es de camaradería. Los recomiendo ampliamente. También venden cerveza, newmix y botanas. Los horarios son de 8 a.m. a 10:30 a.m. y de 6 p.m. a 10 p.m.

Accesible y con una gran variedad de platillos y algunos licores.

Buenos pajaretes. Falta el de chiva.
