The Royal Head - Powys

My family of four was camping for the week and looking for a home-cooked meal. Initially, we were disappointed that the menu was smaller than what was advertised online. However, the food we did order was absolutely fantastic. The children loved the burgers and the fish and chips were the best I've had in a long time - not greasy and very fresh. The staff was lovely and welcoming, and the chef prepared excellent dishes. Overall, a very nice pub experience.

I did not eat at the restaurant, but the food looked good. The real ale was excellent and the atmosphere in the pub was beautiful. It was an enjoyable experience.

This is a lovely and welcoming pub. The staff are helpful and accommodating. The beer selection is fantastic, it's the best!

Great Pub beds! We were welcomed by Harry and he is amazing, had a pint in the pub. Good selection of beers. We struggling to find a place to stay and this was literally the only place in mid Wales that still had room: best decision ever!
