Tim Hortons - Powell

Once again, we didn't receive what we ordered. I had requested the honey-dipped cake donuts, but instead, I was given some stale raised donuts. I describe them as stale because they had dried, glass-like pieces on them.

You might expect that I would become accustomed to the subpar customer service we often encounter in today’s post-COVID world, and to some extent, I have. However, it seems that Hortonn's is willing to hire anyone who shows up, regardless of their demeanor. The staff appeared uninterested and rude, and they failed to accurately take orders or serve fresh food.

I visited the place today around 4:30 PM to grab some donuts, but it turns out they’ve downsized and only offer coffee and breakfast sandwiches now. They didn’t have any donuts available at all. This is exactly the issue I mentioned when they pushed local mom-and-pop shops out of business. Now we have a donut shop that doesn’t even have donuts! I ended up going to Duck Donuts instead, and they actually had fresh donuts that were delicious. I won’t be returning to Lil Timmy’s!

Every time I visit this restaurant, I order the same thing: two Boston cream pastries and a blueberry muffin. They consistently taste fresh and expertly prepared. The establishment is clean and has a cozy atmosphere. My only minor complaint is that the staff could be a bit friendlier. Overall, it's a great experience.

I wasn’t even at the window before this guy uttered “be right with you”. I did not hear it. I ordered and he immediately got loud and had an instant tone because I ordered too quickly for him. There was one car in front of me. I work in the service industry too, seems like the guy can’t handle his job
