New China Express - Powell

The little girl who runs the checkout is the best part of the food here. Although they may not even have their permanent upper incisors, they ran this register better than most CPAs I know. The food is not bad for this price... But there are better Asian restaurants further south on Sawmill (at Hard Rd). The Chicken String Bean was excellent, and I ordered it Extra Spicy, and it was not disappointed. The Spring Roll was also very good and tasteful, although a little heavy for a Spring Roll. The Sweet Sour Dipping Sauce was also very tasty and tasteful and went really well with the spring roll. However, the hot acid soup was very disappointing. It had much too much beef bullion taste, and was extremely salty, I couldn't even finish it. And I love salty foods.

I brought my wife out in Powell for the afternoon dinner. The food was fantastic! We ordered the Singapore rice noodles and general Tso chicken. The staff was very nice and great prices! We will definitely come back!

Always excellent an occasional brilliant. I didn't find one thing on the menu I don't like. No other place in the city you can get high quality food for so cheap. It is at the point where I go for lunch, I let them choose to save me the hatred of the decision and it is allowed for some really delicious food. My only grip is that if we ever go to another Chinese restaurant, I can compare it to New China Express. Update: Still ingenious. I let them choose what the food is to serve and I am not disappointed. A

The amount of food you receive for the price is excellent and one of the best. A large duck can easily feed two average adults. The taste of food is also quite good and served hot. Definitely one of the most popular local Chinese spots.

The best Chinese take out I know of. Food is well prepared and fresh. The dining area and kitchen are always spotless clean which is always a good sign.
