Very cozy decoration, friendly staff and good eating. a bit expensive compared to the rest of the prices on the island, but the money worth when they are looking to guarantee a comfortable and relaxing stay. the rooms have a great view over the sea.

Would have given Five stars for excellent food and atmosphere, but it did take over an hour for the food to come. Kind of worth the wait though!

I have not seen the rooms, but the restaurant serves good food and it is a nice place to spend a day in the sunbed.

This is a nice higher end restaurant on the island of Ngor. As such the prices are much higher than the very appealing and great smelling food on the other islands (highly rated) beach bars/cafes. My daughter and i decided to eat here as we wanted a haven from the hussle and bustle around the beach. I really wish we hadn't. The food was nice, but I am sure no better than the tempting offerings elsewhere. We ended up spending 90 minutes and over £40/$50 for an average meal with really poor service. The staff are very surly, aloof and unhelpful. When we arrived we were shown to a table that had recently been vacated and was dirty. There was no effort by the staff to clean it, just menus dropped on it in front of us. We chose drinks and ordered (in fluent french) and asked if they could please clean the table, which they agreed with no enthusiasm to do. There was not even a place setting I know this is Africa but this is a higher end establishment and all the tables are nicely set up with mats and cutlery pouches. 5 minutes later someone else, this time with a pad, came and took our drinks order. We explained we had already ordered and he still took the order. We again asked if we could have the table cleaned to the same unenthusiastic response. Our drinks were bought and still the table was not cleaned, so we asked again (3rd time) and they took our food order. Bread basket was bought out and still the table was not cleaned and we did not even have cutlery. We asked again. This time the chap lifted my daughters place mat, shook it onto the floor and replaced it along with the used cutlery and walked off. At this point we decided to get up and move to the table next to us, which had just been vacated by two people. it was a table for four was was much cleaner than ours and still had two intact place settings and cutlery sets (unused). Our food arrived and was perfectly fine but by this time we were quite annoyed. We then had to ask for the bill around 4-5 times before it arrived, I almost walked out without paying I was that annoyed. A really unhappy experience and it could of been (and should of been) so much better. I would not return and would have had better service and equally good food for 20% of the price at the beach cafe/bars.

We went for dinner at 19:30. The place is beautiful and clean, the food was really good and it came fast, but just 15 mins after the plates came they brought us the bill. We didnt paid yet, because we had half of the food on the plate, so they came asking for the money. We told the waitress that we were still eating, and she told us that they were closing. That was at 20:30 more or less. If they were closing at the time that we arrived, they shoulnd’t have served us, instead of kicking us with the bite on our mouth.
