Bidrage med feedbackFood is decent, prices are affordable, and service is usually good. If you do decide to get take out/to go, do NOT be surprised if it takes longer than expected. On two separate occasions, I've placed online orders and upon arrival to pick up, I've had to wait an additional 25-30 mins. Keep in mind, when placing your order, you set a pick up time. The hostess was quite cold in her attitude and told myself and three other separate customers to awkwardly wait in the tiny area in between the front entrance and doors to go into the restaurant due to all of our orders not being ready yet. Not only was it very crowded, it was cold and pretty much forced us to be on top of each other. I do not know what their protocols are for pandemic safety/socially distancing but this did not work well. It somewhat served as a deterrent because people that wanted to go in to dine in, saw a bunch of people waiting around, with no staff in sight, and weren't sure if there was a long wait time or not.
There's a sign when you first walk in: please wait to be seated. But there's no one there to seat you. And you can see employees and they can see you but no one comes over to help you. There seems to be only one server, in a red shirt, and several others in dark blue shirts that were busy talking to each other. The breakfast wasn't bad it's just a service was sporadic today. Maybe today was a bad day for them. That's why only the two stars
We were jet-lagged and wanted to have a heavy breakfast and this was only place that was open so we ihoped. Service was little slow since it was 7 ish in the morning and we could see only one server. But food was good.
Coming to IHOP at dinner time was a first. The last time I've been here was several years ago for breakfast. Something we discovered on their website was their Happy Hour Deal, making us come. The best part is it's served from 2 10 pm daily. There's quite a bit to choose from that menu, so try for yourselves. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us. It seemed a bit understaffed despite it being quiet anyway, so it was no issue. I ordered the chicken tenders along with 3 pancakes, and boy it filled me up. All of it was really good at a reasonable price. My other friends enjoyed their food as well. We were happy with our meal, and I'm hoping to make this stop again soon.
I was never really a big IHOP person. Back in the day, they didn't really have gluten free options and prior to needing a gluten free diet, I was never really impressed. I was always able to find places that were much better. Recently, after discovering that they offer gluten free pancakes and Belgian waffles, I decided to give them a try. It's been years and the time has really done them some good. The food has definitely improved. I ordered a big Belgian waffle and it actually tasted really good! Was I surprised? For sure! The waffle was stored in a separate section from the rest of my meal so that it wouldn't move around with the eggs and sausage since we did take out. I wish the waffle was still crispy when it got to me but unfortunately wasn't due to the condensation in the plastic container. It still tasted delish though. One down side for me is their plastic container packaging. It just seems really wasteful as it's wayyy larger than what's needed for the food. But that's about my only complaint. My fiancé loved his food and was raving about his meal, which included giant, smoked sausages. They definitely looked appetizing! Overall I was very happy with my meal.
