Uma Japanese Hibachi Steak House

Alright so every time we tried to go it has always been super packed. Today after work, I decided to treat the kids( I have 6) to one last good meal before school starts. The kids couldn't decide what kind of sushi they wanted. So I told the server just pick one and that's what they will have as their app. Never came and when my son asked about it, he said we never ordered it lol but I literally told him like 6 times just pick a sushi so they can stop arguing. Anyway, the cook guy comes out and does a decent job. While I eat, I pull out 3 long black hairs (I'm blonde lol) I didn't say nothing cus my daughter has social anxiety and would cry if I said anything. Well when we get to the car, I tell them about the hair. My one daughter says she pulled out one long black hair and was too afraid to say something. My other daughter said she pulled out 6 hairs but was too afraid to say anything and my son said he saw us all pulling hair out of our food and was wondering y none of us said anything lol $160 for hairy food lol it's always packed there so it gotta be good, we just had a bad experience so we won't be going back again.

The sushi is fantastic. But the hibachi experience is lacking.

If you’re looking for a nice paced meal, pass this up…..We dined there today with my daughter in law and grandkids…We were thoroughly disappointed with the service….Five of us were seated in a 4 person booth with a chair at the end. .Shortly after ordering appetizers, we were asked to place our dinner order, as the waitress said the appetizers were ready to come out…Placed our dinner order…..appetizers came out, as well as the soup salad and shortly after our entree…..we had no room on the table and had not even started on the appetizers….We ended up boxing up our entrees, because they would have been cold after finishing the appetizers, soup salad….The food what we did eat was good…But, there was only a party at one of hibachi tables and one other couple besides us in a booth….It was not busy…It was very rushed. Won’t go back there for sure. Addendum…Heated up the entree, mine was vegetables noodles…Very bland, my husband had General Tso’s which is supposed to be hot (spicy) dish, very bland. Ended up throwing it all out. Plus it tasted like it came out of a premade buffet…

Sushi Shashami combo was excellent. We've eaten here twice now while traveling around the area. Fantastic..our service wasn't the best this time, a little slow we thought. Parking: We had to park in the dunkin donuts side lot

First visit. Chef was fun and food was great, especially the fillet.
