Bidrage med feedbackThere should be mint chocolate chip ice cream as a dessert on the menu! The veggie burgers were better before. Jess was a fantastic waitress and you need to give her a raise and more hours! Atmosphere is great.
My friend turned 21 and at midnight we went to this Bar to celebrate for a few drinks. Mind you it 's a week night, none of us were looking to get smashed. Just a drink or two to celebrate. Bartender turns him down saying that they don 't serve fresh 21 year olds . He says he is not allowed and can get in a lot of trouble. This same bartender served my other friend who happened to be there night with me on his 21 year old just a few months ago. The same bartender gave him a free drink to celebrate. Bartender was a good guy but was stern. He told us he had to wait till they reopened. People go to the Brick House because its right in the middle of **** Pottstown. It 's an old converted bank. It has potential to be a great spot but with the **** people, loud terrible music, bad food/service I 'm surprised people still go there. Probably because it 's the only option. Just look at the reviews, Stevie Wonder can see the trend. So to close I make a suggestion. If you would really want to celebrate your bday for you or for a friend at the Brick House you will have to wait until 11AM on day of your actual bday to have a drink. If also think this is dumb just plan a trip to Phoenixville, PA. It 's about 20 minutes away and you have a few different decent bars to choose from that would be happy to have your new business on a weeknight.
This is my go to place for an excellent lunch in Pottstown. I stopped in yesterday to have lunch with a friend. We were seated immediately in this always pleasant space. I ordered the lunch special chili burger. My burger was cooked to order, tasty, and served on a nice bun. The homemade chips on the side were great and the price was right at $7.99. I washed it down with a couple of cold craft beers. My friend had the ahi tuna wrap and pronounced it excellent. Throughout our lunch the waitress, hostess, and owner all stopped by to check on us. Nice service! I believe this is my fourth lunchtime visit and each time has been pleasant. Good food and good service keep me coming back!
Finding a decent restaurant that is open for lunch on a MONDAY in Pottstown is a Quest. We went to five places-all of them closed before we landed at The Brick House. They have a decent lunch special. Our wraps were good-our onion rings and fries were good. Our server was efficient and fine. The place was formerly a bank so the atmosphere is unique. One suggestion--Entire place needs a good scrubbing--MOST ESPECIALLY THE LADIES ROOM.
This is actually a 4.5 stars and it is only not a 5 because I didn't have a chance to try the food and the only dish I saw I didn't care for, so I decided it may be better to just give it 4.5 to be accurate. I came for a 15 year high school reunion last week of which there were only three of us in attendance and one of those three were my boyfriend who did not attend my high school. This means that only two people who went to my high school attended. That is neither here nor there. With only one phone call on the Monday prior to the event, I want to say Bryn or Kristen, although I could be wrong, went above and beyond the call of duty and extended happy hour specials to the group. She even went so far as to print out menus with the school mascot on them. That is customer service to the nth degree. Additionally, the three servers that checked in on us with such regularity were all very positive girls who never acted like it wasn't the most important thing to take our drink orders. I can tell you that I only come back to Pottstown to visit my parents but I am positive, from the actions that their staff provided, I will make it a point to stop by everytime. Thanks for making the experience, which could have been sad and irritating, really quite fun.
