Bidrage med feedbackI ordered the cashew chicken and a side of rice, but when I got home, I realized the chicken already came with rice. I ended up ordering an extra side of rice for no reason. It would have been nice if they had informed me that it came with rice. The food was too salty, which was disappointing. This should not happen at a noodle bar.
The name Wok and Noodle Bar may sound deceivingly like a Chinese takeaway, but don't be fooled - this place serves some of the best ramen in Sydney. Despite the confusing name and fears of it being too crowded, the broth is flavorful, noodles are perfectly cooked, and the overall experience is top-notch. While Gaku Robata may be the only competitor, both restaurants are excellent choices for authentic ramen.
I am a soup lover, especially ramen, and this place is just the best you can find in Sydney. I'm so grateful for the day I found this place. Service is usually fast. The staff is great and very helpful with suggestions. I usually have the spicy...miso that is just amazing. Tantan and Tonkotsu are also very good options. Don't miss!!
Delicious and authentic broth that reminded me of being back in Sapporo. The dark and slightly grim interior, along with the eclectic decor, also brought back memories of ramen shops in Japan. We will definitely be returning!
I’ve been here a few times, and every time I’ve stopped by the soup is never hot enough, but luke warm. It’s definitely traditional and they have a great menu with different options, including vegetation and gyoza. I like the Spicy tonkatsu but I would...appreciate if the leek was cooked as it’s a little lack lustre as a topping. Char-su was excellent though nice and tender with a little char. Friendly staff, neat little restaurant and a good find in the cross.. I’ve been to a lot of ramen shops in both Sydney and Japan.. so I guess I’m a little tough on the old bowl of ramen. There is definitely no competition in the 2011 postcode for ramen, so I’ll be back.
