Bidrage med feedbackOk, but not something special. The Sushimi was good, but most other dishes were just fine. It was expensive for what we had. The service was sometimes a bit confused.
My partner and I were given a $200 red balloon voucher as a gift which we thought was a great idea and a really good way to experience something we would not normally do. We chose Crane Bar after reading the many positive reviews, our love of food and our hospitality background. the experience offered an 8 course degustation with cocktail each for $178.Within 10 minutes of sitting down we had 3 courses on the table ,the first being bland salmon on fried lotus root chips which were soft which lead us to think the dish along with others which were cold has been made well in advance as the chefs knew we were coming for the tasting menu. Within 10 minutes of sitting down and having 3 courses in front of us, we were still yet to be offered a drinks menu. Went in for the dumpling challenge on $1 dumpling night. Unfortunately too busy eating to get photos. Dumplings were average - prawn schumai probably least favorite. Service was friendly though.

Nice lounge space at the back for a casual lunch. Yummy gyoza, edamame and spider roll. Would have preferred less batter on the tender salt and pepper squid. Dynamite tofu pretty yummy with spicy sauce. On Sunday's they have a $40pp chef's banquet from 1 pm which is a pretty good deal considering they'll keep serving it until you're full. simonfoodfavourites.blogspot.com
