O’donnell’s Market - Potomac

I discovered O'Donnells while searching for a place to enjoy oysters in Montgomery County. They offer a variety of dishes, and if you enjoy talking, this is the place for you. During happy hour, oysters are only $1 each. The staff is very friendly, and if you have a sweet tooth, you must try their bakery. Their desserts are delicious, even for someone like me who isn't big on sweets. I highly recommend trying the rum cake and the key lime pie, although everything on the menu is fantastic. The burgers are also a standout option, served with a side of fries. I always look forward to dining at O'Donnell's, as the staff is top-notch and the food is delicious. I can't wait to go back again.

This version of O'Donnell's is amazing. They offer fresh seafood for home cooking, sourced from knowledgeable specialists who clearly display the quality of their cuts. The bakery treats are just as delicious as they were decades ago in Bethesda. They also have salads, sides, and a great staff. Dining in or outside for lunch or an early dinner is a great option, and they offer prepared meals for two for $25 that can be heated and served at home. It's truly a wonderful market with half of the great things. I proposed to my wife at O'Donnell over 25 years ago, and the owner still remembers. They are fantastic.

This restaurant offers fresh seafood from their market, as well as a bakery and deli. The same high-quality seafood is used in both their dine-in and take-out menus. The food and service were top-notch. I will definitely be returning. There is ample seating at the bar, but limited tables, so making a reservation is recommended.

I recently discovered this amazing seafood market in Montgomery County that I had never heard of before! The crabcakes were fantastic and I regret not knowing that we could also purchase seafood to cook at home. The desserts were just as delicious as the seafood (or even better for those who have a sweet tooth). I recommend trying them all. The only suggestion for improvement would be to make the prices more clear for the seafood items, as many were not visible or listed when we visited.

Great neighborhood spot for either take out or dine in. There are a few outdoor tables, however that might be seasonal. The pastries are pretty incredible, but if you?re a seafood fan it doesn?t get fresher. A go to for high end and sometimes hard to find fish. They have reasonably priced sashimi. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Pro tip, Wednesdays they have a family meal that changes weekly. Usually a main and 2 sides and is better priced than buying from the counter a la carte.
