I’ve lived in Chichester for over 39 yrs and have been here a few times but due to all that’s going on haven’t been out in a while.went here for lunch today and ,WOW,it was brilliant,service was excellent from the minute we walked in to smiling staff to leaving.although times are difficult for all the staff continues to be upbeat and positive.food was to die for,large portion of excellent food,well presented and exceptional quality.even the clients in the pub were really friendly and chatty.we were so impressed were going back next week.

I highly recommend visiting this place and I'm so happy that I did. They have a wonderful variety of ales to choose from. The atmosphere is cozy with an open fire, and the staff and locals are friendly. This small, traditional pub is located in the heart of Southsea.

Great atmosphere; great service: moderately priced, well kept, quality ales. The food is traditional British fare well cooked and plenty of it! If you want and a good night out in a friendly traditional British boozer you really can’t beat the Hole in the Wall.
