Portola Cafe Deli Pizza Burgers

I have been stopping by the deli for over 35 years the food has always been great it's nice to see a small family business last in a small affluent town.

Small neighborhood cafe/deli. I was the only customer when I showed up and the gentleman behind the counter treated me like it. Very friendly, personalable, offering suggestions and patient while I looked at the menu board for what they served.I decided on the Turkey Avocado wrap with fries and it was very good! Perhaps a bit too much salt on the fries was my only minor complaint no biggie.I would definitely return if I'm back in the area during lunch. The other items on the wall looked very good!

I really enjoy this place. I stop in for lunch quite often, even if I have a lunch packed. The pizza is good, Elias makes his own crust, and is generous with the toppings. I usually switch up from cheeseburgers with grilled onions, patty melts, or a delicious Rueben sandwich. Grab some food before/after hitting the parks and trails.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza

I had the bacon cheeseburger, which was amazing. The worker was super friendly and provided our hot meals with no time.Perfect place to get lunch after a hike.
