The Traveller Caffe - Porto

This cafe is on the main road down to the river , it is a nice place to take a break for a coffee and bun. We stopped here a couple of times, the service is pretty good, the costs are reasonable, a pint of local beer was 3.20 euros , tea was 1.50 euros and the famous custard tarts pastel de nata) was £1 euro each. Well worth a stop whilst walking up and down the hill to the river.

Great place to eat and people watch. I had the Greek breakfast with pear juice. Fantastic food service could be slicker.

Bien accueillis, nous avons rapidement de la place.Le choix est varié, les plats vite servis mais la quantité est mince pour bien commencer la journée. L’emplacement n’est pas terrible, au vu du passage automobile constant et bruyant.

Stopped here for a breakfast. Menu choice was good and plenty to choose from. Unfortunately there was only one poor chap on his own serving the full restaurant which was far too much to ask. He was run off his feet doing his best nut we waited around 15 minutes to order. Food came quick and was lovely. We then waited around 20 to pay the bill. Quicker service this would of been 5 stars. But to reiterate, not the servers fault for sloe service as it was lack of staff not lack of effort.
