Solar D'alegria - Porto

It’s such a nice place, food was delicious and the staff treated us so well. Very recommended. we hope to be back next time.

We were staying at the hotel across the street and after a full day of walking and port tasting, we did not want to venture far on a chilly evening. So for 22 Euros, we shared a salad, had water and wine , the alheira sausage entree and the salmon special of the day. No room to have dessert. So besides a bargain, the food was top notch. We hope the restaurant will continue to find fans.

Solar da Alegria Restaurant is the best homemade food in Porto. Try the incredible grilled octopus, dourada, tuger shrimp, and the filet mignon.....

I got steak to go and it was muito bom, I’m looking forward to trying the rest of their menu!

Really nice price for an excellent meal. The place was empty. I have no idea why!!! Loved the food!
