We have a table with views over the river douro, and a cursor meal of suppe and sea bass /salmon, both excellent, recommended on the euro menu.

We were heading along the inner street and spied this place, the menu appealed as it is so simple, euro's for soup no choice) and then a choice of I think maybe mains. I had sea bass with veg, we also...had cod cakes and bream. All were delicious, served with a nice vino Verde it made for a wonderful lunch with a view of the river and a cooling breeze through the open windows. When we were leaving I picked up a leaflet for table reservations for when the RedBull Air Race is in town Sept. A brilliant location overlooking the river!

We stopped in here for an early lunch after failing to get a table the previous day quite late. The lunch special, for a soup and plate was amazing value. The portions were massive and food very tasty. It would have been nice to...see some A la Carte options, but this was still good. The view was great as we had a table in the window; we could see the river and Vila de Gaia very clearly. Highly recommend for a cheap lunch with a view

We found this place while we were wandering. Really friendly service with good suggestions. Soup was good and so was my chicken. There was plenty of choice on the set menu. Just had a nice atmosphere and was good value for what you got.
