E Típico O Fado - Porto

After reading the reviews of the previous diners, I had expected great things from this restaurant. While the fado was excellent, I would say that I was left a bit underwhelmed by the entire experience. eating was good, but not exceptional and there are many other restaurants in porto that offer a better value for their money.

As a small family restaurant in Porto's historic district, it is the ideal place for a nice dinner accompanied by Fado artists. Service was nice. The food was also good, although the main theme was Fado music. We preferred and liked the dish made with cod fish, shrimp and rice, which is their signature dish.

The Fado experience was great, lovely music! The food however was overpriced and nothing special. If you would come for the music, you should definitely do it. If you would come for the food, there are lots of better opportunities in thé city.

Amazing service, food, ambience and show! I didn't quite know what to expect, but the reviews kept my expectations a little high, and the actual experience fulfilled them all. Overall there were 3 performances, and we wanted to go after the first, but the server told us that the show just started and didn't let us lol glad he didn't! Hundred percent recommend this restaurant.
