Churrasqueira Cidade - Porto

We had a very lovely lunch here. Conveniently located right off the Combatentes metro stop, the restaurant had good food (1/2 portions are plenty for two! , pretty table settings, a nice view and good service. I wish I remembered our servers name he was fun, friendly and helpful. The Caldo Verde was the best I've had so far and the Secretos do Porco yummy!

My hotel was in the near and I have seen it the very last day of my stay in Porto. Now I can say that I'm sorry why I haven't seen it before. Staff is very polite, food is tasty and the portions are quite big and there is no way to leave the place with hunger. Pricely is also in normal range.

We live in the area and, through the years, we managed to eat a large portion of their menu. This is our favourite choice for Churrasqueira (Grill) in Porto. <br/ <br/ It is highly recommended for people visiting Porto as Portuguese venue with good quality food served in very generous quantities (it is in right in front of the metro stop 'combatentes ' in the yellow line so easy to get there). <br/ <br/ For lunch, in working days it is unsurprisingly crowded, as it is very good value for money. <br/ It has really good and generous day dishes, posted outside on the door. There are choices of fish and meat, and most of the time might well serve two people for less than 10 euros. These ishes are also available as take-away and can be ordered by the phone (this is how we managed to taste so many dishes there). <br/ <br/ If you like Portuguese food, I think you should try it, you won 't be disappointed, locals really like it.
