Restaurant le Littoral - Portneuf

My partner and I stayed at the excellent Portneuf Marina and dined twice at the beautiful La Perle du St. Laurent. Having expected burgers and poutines above the marina office, we were taken aback by this lovely ambience, complete with sweeping views of the St. Lawrence, linen and crystal and superb cuisine. We have both traveled extensively and La Perle could rival the best restaurants in the world. The charming service and attention by the owners augment the dining experience: If you are driving or sailing down the St. Lawrence, this is not to be missed! I've endlessly struggled to post this review because honestly, I did NOT want to share my love for this beautiful gem.

Located at the end of a long pier that stretches into the majestic St. Lawrence River, this restaurant boasts an excellent location. The lunch was delicious and the service was top-notch. The catch of the day was superb and the prices were very reasonable. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worth it when in the area near the river's shore.
