Mchugh's Wine Dine Portmarnock

Just recently went there with my daughters and my Dad Brother for a family meal. Atmosphere was very relaxed, the staff were extremely helpful and engaging. The food was delicious and very reasonable. I don’t go out very often but would recommend McHughs to anyone visiting Portmarnock or staying in the area

Great atmosphere, lovely staff and professional service but the main reason we go back is ‘the wings’ wow the best we have ever tasted and ‘the special’ perfectly named as that’s what they are hats off to the chef

First time at McHughs Portmarnock, me and my family got loads lovely times at McHughs Raheny so we were expecting a lot from this visit. Cocktails were lovely we really enjoyed! The starters were really disappointing, very small portions. Like really small. The chicken supreme was lovely, the pan fried hake also lovely , good combination of flavours. But I have to talk about the prawn linguine, the pasta was way too soft and the cheese should be an option, the cheese was overpowering the other flavours. It’s a lovely dish if executed properly. Also the staff should get a bit of more training, one girl was very clumsy serving the wine and another member of the staff was trying to take the plates of the table before finishing the meal. Lovely night anyway! Thanks for all!

Had another lovely meal with family in McHughs Portmarnock yesterday evening. Definitely our place to go to. Lovely staff, very attentive. Great food and atmosphere. Obi, the manager is a lovely guy. Will be back.
