Top Burmese - Portland

We had the Tofu-Curry with kokosreis. I wish I had lived closer to this place. it was so delicious!

Really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. we decided to eat here after we see the good reviews online. eating is bought by a very sweet robot who was a really funny and interesting note! we order two dishes, both of them well presented and tasted great. the problem is that a (a tofu noodle dish) came with a sign that read “Hähnchen nödeln” we flag this and the court was back to the kitchen to check it. the hostess bought it back and said it had just been badly marked and it was in-fact tofu, we wore further eating. about 5 minutes later we were asked if everything was in order, we said it was great, the hostess then said, "and that was tofu, wasn't it? I am not just going crazy?” I'm sure they were just chatted, but this comment made us feel a little sick, sure they know whether it is or not meat, and shouldn't ask us! had they actually looked after? After a few minutes shock we called them and asked the obvious question: “That’s not the right thing? They checked with the kitchen” assured us again that it wasn’t, but the harm was done. it is hard to enjoy the meal times that felt a little sick, just seconds before. would I eat here again? yes likely, but given our experience, I can't evaluate it higher than a three, which is a real scandal in the face of good nutrition.

I am impressed by this place besides being vegan, I have zöliakie and I am allergic to soy. top burmese has so many delicious vegan options and is really on food allergies. below is that it is quite futile, at least on my student budget. for dishes like the rainbow salad (which they degreas for me by serving wine noodles for rice one), which feed me easily for two days, but I can handle it for the smaller dishes. I really need to treat myself. if they're not gone yet, I highly recommend. updated by previous review on 2022-03-20

A robot served me as one of the best meals of my life. this place is the modern day star wars cantina without schtikky. eating is fired. the part is right. the server was beautiful and the vibe is perfect. tofu was cooked directly in the suppe and the nudelsalat, which is his own success story. comes here every time I'm near portland.

I enjoyed the experience and the food. It is conveniently located in the area I was visiting. I had the fermented green tea leaf salad, chickpea tofu salad, eggplant curry, and the sweet paratha for dessert. It was a delicious and lovely meal.
