The Rambler - Portland

In some years I wasn't at rambler because I wasn't in the rule in this part of the city. on the hot day for a happy hour with a friend, as it was a decent meeting point of the middle. I have the Slushie special and it was nice sweet and tasty. I also have the rambler poutine for which I will be back. Unfortunately we sat in the smoker area sitting outside, which is on me because I don't have enough attention when we sit, but now I know it. Great happy hour, barkeeper was nice and helpful when we order. I'll be back!

This pretty little spot. was the perfect combination of cozy and spacious. I love the opposite where it is located. shops that were former houses and this was a great combination. while I felt like a step in a time machine at the rambler it was modern, but not in a contemporary sense. had a variety from 1960-1970 and it is unique. when they visit the rambler, they will find their sweet juck charm to bring them back shortly after. great burger. a beautiful selection of beer, camp, wein and good times.

This was the place where my friends and I went to the first and last night that we were in portland last week (mostly bc was over the road from our airbnb and is open late). mississippi ave. is full of great stops and the rambler is a highlight. try their crossfire cocktail reeal well if they like something spicy in their drink. her fried chicken sandwich meets the point, crippled with her refreshing gurkenslawe and kräuteraioli to perfection. as good as I had to have it last night. their tornado kartoffel fries have a really delicious Cajun season and are like jojo kartoffeln trying to be curly pommes with ther twisty form. they have some indoor seating places, but many outdoor seating places both in the front and backyard as well as the next courtyard (the square is a converted bungalow from the 1920s). many outside heating as well as a fireplace in the back for cold nights. bartenders were helpful and worked very well with our drinks and orders. not sure when I'm back in portland, but will try to come back and try more from their menu!

The rambler is a great place for a work team happy hour. Although the happy Hour menu itself is not big enough to satisfy everyone, there are more than enough to put some municipal dug on the table, then fill the edge wipe of the regular menu. They also have a really good choice of drinks from craft cocktails, classic cocktails, micro and macro brews, weep, apple wines, they call it. where the rambler seems to me to be really, is the seat. the attempt to find a space for our team of eight with plenty of covered seats outdoors can be hard. However, we know that the rambler always has our back with its spacious front and back terrace with large tables that can fit our entire team.

This place seems like a staple that will always be around. Great drinks, great service, security, awesome vibe, decent crowd. Well worth it. Loved the private areas out front for people watching/making friends over the fire pits.
