Tabor Tavern - Portland

This is definitely my top choice for a neighborhood pub. There is a wide variety of drink options and hands down THE BEST burger in town - it's not just my opinion, it's a fact. The owner or manager is friendly and frequently present. The atmosphere is always bustling but in a positive way. The food arrives promptly, is always served hot, and consistently maintains its high quality. It truly is the best hidden gem in NE Portland. I highly recommend giving it a try. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available.

We had dinner here on a Sunday night, and arrived at 7:30 with two hours until closing. Almost immediately we were rushed into ordering, we did not even finish our food and drinks before they started turning off the music, putting up chairs, and turned on the lights (around 8:30). When we asked about closing time we received a rude and defensive response about how they were very slow that evening and needed to close. While we understand that businesses need to make hard decisions, kindness would have gone a long way. Disappointing as it is a nice neighborhood spot.

This is definitely a cute cozy neighborhood spot of you can afford it. The food is tasty, but nothing stands out. Not a bad spot to stop into.

Everything was delicious (except the seasonal sangria, I'd recommend any of their other lovely house drinks). Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
