Sushi Sakura - Portland

Came across these old pictures that I took a while ago and I remember this place having good sushi, as well as a lot of variety, and quick service. Plus you get to choose your plates from a conveyer belt.

Fast and delicious. We walked right in, sat down, and started eating within 5 minutes! On top of that, we didn't realize that it was happy hour and all of the plates were only $2.25 each!

Delicious and a great variety compared to other belt style places I've been to. It's such a shame that they are still closed down. I hope they reopen soon! Will have to stick to Tigard for belt sushi for now :

I have to say that the food is not worth the price and the service was very bad. It seems they have very low standards for everything... if they don't cut evenly... that's terrible, which means you have a bite, but with mouthful food... only a waitress seems to be either the wife of the owner's daughter. She doesn't smile at all and has to worry about the reception and pay out people. The boss just walks around in the restaurant, but doesn't. If you ask for more water, he asks the waitress to do it. If you want to order something, he does not say a word, but shows you the cook. That's pretty rude. The salmon they use do not even meet the average standards, usually use only certain parts of the salmon that has even fat or white strips for sashimi. But look at the salmon, so terrible... and it's not even worth the money
