There was also an occasion when I addressed an employee about her car alarm ringing for an extended period, which was disturbing my sleeping infant. In response, some employees deliberately set off their alarms while we were entertaining guests one summer night. Shortly after, my car window was smashed for no apparent reason, with nothing stolen. Most recently, we returned from vacation to find our expensive BBQ grill overturned in our backyard. I acknowledge I haven't always handled these situations in the most mature way—losing my temper with teenagers is rarely productive—but the management of this franchise has consistently responded with hostility, even when I approached them with a desire to resolve matters amicably. Sadly, my family and I now feel trapped by this disruptive behavior, and we're left with no means of recourse due to the irresponsible management.
